​Meet the World of Powerful Youth Board of Directors

Ashley Hammock

Chief Executive Officer/Founder
Ashley Hammock, CEO and Founder of World of Powerful Youth, began her journey in 2011 with a bold vision: to uplift youth through creativity, confidence, and community. Her first event, the Unimaginable Youth Talent and Fashion Showcase, was more than a fundraiser it was a movement to build self-esteem and provide essential school supplies to future leaders.

After three years of grassroots planning and unwavering faith, Ashley officially launched World of Powerful Youth in February 2014. Since then, she has remained deeply committed to creating spaces where young voices are heard, celebrated, and empowered.

Ashley will graduate from Humboldt State University in December 2025 with a Bachelor’s in Leadership Studies, and she holds a certificate in Foundations in Fundraising. As a dynamic speaker and published author, Ashley continues to use her platform to inspire, educate, and advocate for youth across Sacramento and beyond.

Her message is simple but powerful: Every child deserves a bright future it just takes one.

Cam Davenport

Youth Correspondent
Cam Davenport is a senior in high school with a mind made for discovery and a heart that moves to rhythm. As WOPY’s Youth Correspondent, Cam brings curiosity, insight, and bold energy to every story they touch. With plans to major in Neuropsychology in college, Cam is already shaping the future blending science, empathy, and expression in powerful ways.

Beyond the books, Cam’s passion for dance fuels their creativity and connection, proving that movement is just another form of storytelling. Stay tuned: Cam will soon be teaching a youth psychology program, sharing knowledge and sparking minds with the same grace they bring to the stage.
